Terms & Conditions
These are the arrangements that come with a bridal booking: what is included, when you pay, and what happens if a date moves or a plan changes. Please read them before you book — they are part of your booking.
1Who you are booking

2When your booking is firm
Your date is held once the advance payment for your trial has reached my account. Until then the date stays open to others — an agreement in words alone does not hold it.
On your day I take no other bride. That is what you are paying for when you book, and it is why the arrangements below exist.
3What the price includes
Products, skin preparation, lashes and a touch-up kit are included. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. Parking is added at cost, only where it applies.
4Your trial
Every bridal booking is the trial and the wedding day together, and the price is simply divided between the two. We agree the date together; it usually takes place two to three months before the wedding.
5Payment
Your trial is paid in advance: half of your own bridal styling, plus the travel for that visit. That payment is what secures your date.
Once the trial has taken place you receive the invoice for your wedding day: the second half of your styling, the styling for your guests, the travel for that day, any surcharges and parking.
That invoice is due within 14 days of its date. Your booking is confirmed once the payment has reached my account. If your wedding day falls sooner than that, we agree a shorter term together in writing — the invoice is always paid before your wedding day.
6How many people I style
The number we agree at your trial is the number that goes on the invoice. If someone drops out afterwards, their place is still charged — the time was reserved for them. If someone is added, I will gladly do it when the morning allows.
7Travel and parking
Travel is charged per visit, by distance: €50 within Amsterdam, €60 up to 25 km, €95 up to 50 km, €160 up to 100 km. Beyond 100 km on request. Parking at cost. These are maximum amounts: the exact travel cost is stated in your quotation and is never higher than the amount shown for your distance.
8Surcharges
Sundays 25% and Dutch public holidays 50% on the service total. A start before 7:00 is €45, before 6:00 €85.
9On the morning itself
The morning runs to a schedule we agree beforehand. Please make sure there is a table, a chair at normal height, daylight or a bright lamp, and a socket.
If someone is late the time cannot be made up. Up to 15 minutes is allowed for. Beyond that I will adapt the look rather than run over, so that you are ready on time. If a delay means I have to stay longer, waiting time is €50 for each hour begun.
10If you cancel
The advance payment is not refunded: it holds your date and covers your trial. Of the remaining amount, the following is due:

11If your date moves
More than 60 days before the wedding you may move to another date at no cost, provided that date is free in my calendar. Your advance payment moves with it.
From 60 days onwards, moving your date counts as a cancellation under the table above. Later than that I may still agree — and if I do, your advance payment is credited to the new date. The prices in force on the new date apply.
12If I cannot come
Illness or an emergency: I will find you a replacement artist. If I cannot, everything you have paid is refunded.
13Skin and allergies
Please tell me beforehand about allergies, skin conditions or recent treatments. On request I will do a patch test at your trial. I cannot take responsibility for reactions to conditions I was not told about, and my work is not a substitute for medical advice.
14Liability
My liability is limited to the amount invoiced for your booking. I am not liable for indirect loss.
15Photographs
I would love to photograph your hair and makeup. That is covered by a separate consent form, which you are free to decline — it changes nothing about your booking.
16Your details

17Booking from a distance
Your booking is for a service on a fixed date. For such bookings the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). By making the advance payment you confirm your booking.
18Which law applies
Dutch law applies to your booking. Any dispute goes to the competent court in Amsterdam.
